Does Child Maintenance stop if child is 19 and working part time

hello my husbands daughter is 19 at college but works part time. Does this mean that the child maintenance we pay stop or what are the rules as I am so confused

It depends what she is doing at college and has nothing to do with whether she works or not. It's a question of whether she is in the approved types of full-time education. So if she's doing NVQs or A levels or the like the payments continue if she's doing a degree or an HNC or similar they should stop.1

It is also usually linked to child benefit.
As soon as that stopped for my daughter when she finished college they notified CMS and it was stopped instantly.User name should now read NowWhereIWantToBe
