Do you have any grandchildren to look after?
Hi retiringtoosoon. No grandchildren or any other caring responsibilities.
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.

With 15 years to go, are you absolutely certain that you'll never work again?  Even a little part time 'hobby' job of a couple of days a week should be enough to pay NI.

..or to be treated as having paid NI bu5 probably without actually paying any (as per my earlier post).
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Never say never Silvertabby but it's unlikely.  I was brought up to pay my way in life so I've worked since I was 15.  I'm rather enjoying the break from working a bit too much.

We both retired at 60, also having worked since we were 15.  We are so busy enjoying ourselves, returning to work is definitely not on the cards!
