So some do seem to be taking a while then others quickly. Guess it must depend on situation and under writer maybe?

I honestly can't believe how quick we got our offer, submitted on the 22nd (PM) and offer today and there were 3 non working days in-between (assuming Sat was a working day). Just hope the solicitors don't drag their heels now and we can get everything completed hopefully in a couple of weeks if everything goes smoothly.
