Thank you for your condolences yesterday on the death of a friend, you're all very kind and caring.

I hope you all enjoy today whatever you are doing. Taff, thanks for your sterling work in keeping us supplied with festive music!

Thinking of our poorly and sad people as ever, I know that Christmas is not a happy time for everyone.

Morning all its a very quiet Bella house the dogs and Matthew are still asleep so all is good . I am just having a cuppa enjoying the peace we are 8 for dinner and DH needs to get up soon as he is the chef for the day i will just be on veg peeling and goforing.
I wish you all a very Merry Xmas and i know that for some of us its not an easy time so take care of yourselves xx

I have just opened all my pressies and I have got some really lovely gifts. Once they are organised down at DD's house I am joining them for breakfast and Bucks Fizz, transporting a mountain of stuff with me for our Italian feast later.

Good morning folks, another Christmas and we've all made it. 🎉 

I wish everyone a happy and peaceful day with great food and company. For those of us who are on their own today it will be just as lovely and more peaceful. I had a chaotic FaceTime with the Aussie littlilies which made me sad that I wasn't with them and happy that I wasn't too. 😀

Off to visit my mom in the NH this morning.  Still booked visits and only an hour allowed.

Then home to cook dinner and relax. We will open our presents after lunch.

I'm up early to cook the gammon. DH is in bed with his usual cup of tea but will appear in a while.

Off to DD's later with aforementioned gammon and some sausage rolls.

Morning all, and a Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. I hope you all have a wonderful day.Thinking of those in need or not well.

The turkey arrived yesterday couriered by DH friend & his teenage son. Nice to have a bit of a chat with them.Then my niece, her DH and 2 boys visited in the afternoon, they'd been to the park to help the boys run off some energy, lovely to see them.

All the veg & spuds are prepared, DB and co are coming around 4 o clock. I use Phil Vickerys method of cooking the turkey where you put it into the tray with the stock and wine, cover with foil and heat it on the hob for 5 mins to get it steaming, then in the oven. Seems to take less time and the last few have been good- fingers crossed this is too

Taff, job well done- thanks for all the Christmassy songs to get us feeling festive.
