Has anyone had order/delivery issues with Appliances Direct recently? I ordered dehumidifier on 15th which was sold as "in stock" for delivery on 23rd December but when I checked on 22nd to confirm delivery details, it comes up as out of stock and due 28th December. That said they're advertising on their website on 24th as "in stock" for delivery on 28th. Not looking good.

Sounds like it wasn't completed - therefore, once confirmed, it placed it.

The 28th is the first working day since the 23rd and there will be a backlog of RM and Parcelforce goods from when they weren't working, so the 28th will be fairly unreliable.0 -
My replacement dehumidifier was ordered on 14th Dec, was out of stock, website showed in stock for delivery from 21st Dec, then 24th Dec, when I phoned I was told 28th Dec. Was actually delivered on 28th December.
Their process leaves a lot to be desired, allowing orders to be placed when products are known to be out of stock for weeks, and then dispatch dates are changed at short notice.0
