I don't know if this should go on the health or motoring forum. Around 5 years ago, my GP sent me to A+E with symptoms of what he thought were a heart attack. While there, I mentioned headaches. No heart attack, which I knew anyway but GP was being cautious. I've been in good health other than osteoarthritis and working. When I mentioned the headaches, an MRI was arranged which showed a tiny lesion. The consultant said it's in an awkward location and she's not sure if it's a true aneurysm or a natural widening. I asked if I was safe to drive and whether I needed to contact dvla. She replied in a letter - safe to drive + no need to contact dvla as no concrete diagnosis of aneurysm. I get checked every 2 years and no change in size etc. I'll probably stop getting scanned under the nhs as nearing 60 (consultant said that) so will get private scans. Should I have contacted dvla 5 years ago? But there's no health condition within dvla notifiable health conditions called 'might or might not be an aneurysm'.

If you have a letter from the consultant telling you DVLA do not need informing - that is as 'black & white' as it gets. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.2
