Best way to turn Amazon gift balance into cash?

I enter a competition on another message board regularly, and quite often win. The prize is Amazon gift balance. I've won it several times and now have more gift balance than I know what to do with. Is there any product or other item purchasable with gift balance, (this excludes all gift cards), that I can then reliably redeem elsewhere for cash equalling 75% or more of the cost to me, as that tradeoff would be absolutely worth it.

Only if you buy something and then resell it, that’s your only option. 

Personally I would use it for presents throughout the year or groceries or dishwasher tabs/laundry tabs or any of the million and one things I buy from Amazon
