Search for umbrella company

My umbrella company have sprung it on me that they are moving my contract to a partner of theirs who will be paying me £40 less each week. I’m unhappy about this and would like to search for a new UC.
How can I go about searching for a new one. Do people have any UC recommendations that they can DM with?

Hi, I would contact acas to ask them some questions, one of which would be - what does your employment contract specify? Does it state that a partner company would be taking over at any time and that you would lose out? £40 per week is a lot to lose, certainly for me anyway.

Obviously you have only given minimal information here so we aren't able to give a great deal of advice - which is okay - but if you speak with someone at acas, you will be able to disclose more and they will be able to tell you what you need to know. Employers 'springing' things on their employees is never looked upon favourably. I'm not surprised you're not happy, I'm sure that nobody would be in such circumstances.
Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. You are restricted really to the Agency's list of approved companies, so you need to start with that list and then simply send them all an enquiry email with your requirements and compare the outcomes.
A change of £40 per week in take-home is a lot. What is that cost attributed to?1
