If you’re feeling down and want to speak to someone, you can contact the Samaritans.
Call free at any time on 116 123, or text 07725 909090, or email jo@samaritans.org. For information about visiting in person, take a look at the Samaritans website.
If you need help with debt, you can speak to StepChange or National Debtline. Please note that National Debtline will be closed between Friday 23 December 5pm and Tuesday 3 January 9am. There’s also Christians Against Poverty who provide debt and emotional counselling.
If you’d like help with a legal matter, you can turn to Citizens Advice. See the contact page for England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
If you believe you’ve been the victim of a crime, you can contact the Police by calling 101 or by making a report online.
