I have just started my state pension and still working. How do I work out my new tax code - I don't trust hmrc to get it right. My work income is £30k them my pension will be £9500 approx.

    Your tax code will likely be your current code less £9500 ( your full annual pension amount) on a M1 basis so taxing 1/12th of the annual pension each month
