I dont use Accord much, but they are generally alright.
About 7 years ago they were terrible, I dont just mean terrible, I mean without fail you would want to throw your phone at the wall because of the ridiculous requests the underwriters would come back with.

They must have had money on which broker they would get to have a heart attack first, thats my theory anyway.

But then someone came in and sorted everything out and they are generally alright now.

hopefully someone that has used them recently can give me a timeline
  • Our full application went in on 27th September and we received our offer on 5th October.

  • @sequin12 thank you!
did they come back asking lots of questions etc?
  • Had no questions, no issues with valuation, was a really straight forward process for us.

I just thought I'd add my recent experience of Accord to this thread.

82% LTV -  With Help to Buy redemption plus a bit of consolidation.

    09/03/23- DIP & Application
09/03/23- Full credit search and valuation instructed, request for latest payslip and bank statement, submitted straight away and satisfied same day
    15/03/23- Valuation carried out
    16/03/23- Offer issued

Super smooth process , very impressed.
