Aesthetics Procedures

Hi
I recently had some coolsculpting that did not work and infact left the area numb. I had several cycles and throughout my treatment i was assured that it would work and better still i was the perfect candidate. I paid alot of money and when i mentioned a refund, I was told i could have less than half but i had to sign a waiver stating that i could not proceed any further or post comments that the procedure did not work. I contacted a few professional bodies but as yet, none of them can help. As soon as i asked the company for there company complaints procedure they withdrew the offer of a partial refund and would not respond to why. They are also refusing to have an outside investigation as stated in their terms. Is there anyone (professional bodies) that can help with my dilemma? They had stated that i was the first person this had not worked on, so admitting a 100% success rate, but then stating that not all procedures work and that i had signed up to this. I feel really duped and let down by this so called professional company, any help would be gratefully received.
Kind Regards
Jo

The cosmetic/dermal/aesthetic services performed by people not registered with proper medical governing bodies like GMC, GDC or Nursing Council etc. really are the Wild West!
Places run by beauticians who've done a weekend course in some fad or other really need a lot of caution before trusting. There can be very little comeback. They are often deliberately ignored by healthcare regulators like CQC etc.How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0
