Can I send money to my partner to put in their Help To Buy ISA?

First time poster so apologies if the title etiqute isn't up to scratch.
My question is relatevly simple. Me and my partner both opened an Help To Buy ISA jsut before the closure. Both are currently at £1 but we are in a position to start funding them now.
I work full time and can afford to put the max £200 into my ISA. My partner however is not. My question is that if I was to send my partner £200 from me to place into their ISA, is this allowed? Is there questions asked about where the money into the ISA has come from for example and if I was to answer "well I put £200 in mine then sent my partner £200 to put in theirs" does this invalidate either of the ISA's? I know there are many money laundering checks and balances within mortgage applications so I want to check now just in case.
Any help would be gratefully welcomed.
Thank you!

It's fine. We paid into our kids HTB ISA from the start. Didn't even bother sending the money to their bank accounts first, just made the payment directly from our account to their HTB account.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
