Drying clothes

Options
I know this has been asked many times before, so I apologise in advance.
Drying my washing indoors is being a real problem. I have the washed clothes on an airier in my spare room, with the window left open about an inch.
T-shirts I put on a hanger and hang from the curtain rail, but even they can take 2/3 days to dry.
I'm looking into getting a dehumidifier to help with the drying. I live on my own, so I don't have that much to dry and the room is 12ftx6ft, My budget is around £50 but could go to £70.

I have heard good and bad about them and they do cost a bit more than I'm looking to spend.

  • If you have a desk or pedestal fan handy or can borrow one give it a go at full speed, the windy day principle i like to call it.
As long as the damp air goes out the window condensation shouldn't be a problem & the running costs are low.

Aldi often sell them at a reasonable cost.

They are ahem, "gentle", and no way near as good as the Dri Buddi though. I have 2 - one from a chazzer for just £15, and one foc on Freecycle. Well worth looking out for.

I've seen a drying "hack" where people set them up outside, under a covered pergola (the advantage being it avoids the dreadful black mould). That to me is a recipe for a disaster.
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.

    Could I ask why?
