Constantly being signed/logged out

There appears to be a problem staying logged into MSE's Competitions Time although it may be a problem with MSE's Forum's in general.

This only started happening today. I use the Competitions Time Forum everyday and just leave myself logged in so I can come back to the Tab whenever I want. 

Once logged in on a few occassions (not every time)  when I have clicked on a link to a competition to enter and then come back to the Forum list of competitions I have been logged out of MSE. I then have to log in again to continue onto another competition. 

If I click on another tab on my computer and come back to MSE within a few minutes I have again been logged out. 

Is it me or is it MSE? If it is me what is the problem? My cache, cookies etc. are cleared everyday. At this present time I do not have a problem with any other website that I am logged into and the problem only started this morning.

Yes me too, I thought it might be the security settings on my laptop, now I just keep checking I'm logged in so I don't have to keep marking comps again that I've already done.

It’s been raised on site feedback. If you want to add your comments on there - browser etc - it might help.

You get logged out exactly 60 minutes after logging in irrespective of what you do in the meantime.

I am beginning to suspect (but hope it is not) something implemented by the software developers, possibly at the request of a customer other than MSE.
