How can I download a full tax return from 2 years ago.
I have searced the HMRC webiste, but cannot find any way to do this.
I can find a brief summary, but not the whole thing.
Thanks

Are you able to access the self-assessment section within your personal tax account?0

Do you mean your own completed return?t8769 said:How can I download a full tax return from 2 years ago.

 Or a blank one?0

As D&C asked, your own submission or a blank one? If the latter, you can't ..

If it's a blank you are after, do you need the whole form - or just specific questions? If so, asking on here for details of 'what q.xxx said' should mean that someone can help by looking at their own return for that year (2019/20?).
If it helps, the National Archive has blank self assessment forms up to 2018: https://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ukgwa/20180411173251/https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/self-assessment-tax-return-sa100
If you need a whole blank form for 2018/19 or 2019/20, HMRC can supply this if you contact them direct: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/hm-revenue-customs/contact/self-assessment?_gl=1*xopair*_ga*MTMxNTUxODg0MS4xNjY5ODI2MTE2*_ga_Y4LWMWY6WS*MTY3MDUzODc5Ni4yLjEuMTY3MDUzODg0Mi4wLjAuMA..
If you're after a self assessment form you've already filed, log in using your Government Gateway ID then click on 'More details about your self assessment returns and payments' and then scroll down to 'Prevoiusly filed returns'.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0

I’m also trying to download a PDF of one of my own previous years’ tax returns. I’ve followed what everyone said above, but I just get a tax year summary, with issued and received dates. There’s no link anywhere saying ‘view/print/store’. Does anyone know what the problem might be?0

Any chance you've clicked the link under 'View Annual Tax Summary' rather than the one just above it 'Tax return options'?cshevlin said:I’m also trying to download a PDF of one of my own previous years’ tax returns.
