Hi guys,
Ive been a lurker here for a while, finding comfort in the fact that Im not alone with all my debt! Ive seen a lot of posts where people have said posting often helps keep them on track so here I am introducing myself and hoping that I too can stay on the straight and narrow with your help!
Im pretty confident that we are managing the debt, although am starting to worry that come feb the car tax and insurance is due and I dont know where that money will come from, but I am concentrating on the here and now otherwise I would drive myself insane!
Myself and hubby owe around £28,857.04 and we only got married 3 months ago! We have 2 kids (twins if you didnt guess already!) so things are tough but i know we can get there in the end. Not sure how many years it will take though!
Ive put our loans etc in my sig, I paid a bit off the store card today to bring it down to £600. My priority at the moment is to get back within the credit card limit as on top of the interest they are charging us £12 per month over limit fee. After I have done that I want to get the store card paid off and then work on the overdrafts. I worked out that we paid £220 this year in overdraft interest alone. Something we can definately do without!
Anyway, thats me and little about our situation. Hope to get to know you all better along the way!

If you could possibly post how much you and the OH earn and how much you pay out in the form of an SOA, I'm sure people will be along to help you out in a flash!Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.0 -
