I posted about this years ago as my pylontech battries are in the garage.  I just live with it for the realativly few days that its a problem, i have wrapped them in bubble wrap not sure is that has helped.   Being on "Cosy" mitigates the issue a little as they are usually warmer during the daytime charging slot.  This is not just an issue with lithium lead acid batteries are also slow to charge when very cold.

I imagine sodium ion batteries will soon become the norm for static storage, particularly for outdoor batteries.

My ranking of batteries for outdoor applications (installed outside the property or in a unheated/ uninsulated garage) for their cold weather performance.

    1) Tesla PW3
    2) Tesla PW2
    3) Enphase
    4) GivEnergy All in One (performance does degrade but not quite as significantly as their other batteries)
    5) Puredrive PureStorage II
    6) SolarEdge / LG
    -  10 x 400w LG Bifacial + 6 x 550W SHARP BiFacial + 2 570W SHARP Bifacial + 5kW SolarEdge Inverter + SolarEdge Optimizers. SE London.

    -  Triple aspect. (33% ENE.33% SSE. 34% WSW)

    -  Viessmann 200-W on Advanced Weather Comp. (The most efficient gas boiler sold)
