Christmas trees

Yesterday I bought a Nordman Fir Christmas tree at B&Q as I do every year and paid £52. I was surprised at the price as I couldn't remember it being so expensive last year but bought it anyway as I had made the trip specially. Today, I saw Nordman Firs of the same size being sold at Morrisons for £19.99. How can such a price difference be justified?  Shop around and don't buy at prices that are ridiculously higher than others.

Sorry to hear this, @Patrick1918. You make a good point about shopping around.

If anyone's bought a tree at a good price (or a ridiculously high price which should be avoided), I hope they'll post their findings here.

I got mine from my local Lidl for £17.99 this year. It's nearly 2m tall and pretty bushy.

I have seen huge variation recently and yes some at the £18-20 level while many others are very much more. I love real trees but after many years of multiple real trees and recently getting fed up with them going crispy and droopy I have got 3 artificial trees and have had good fun decorating those
