@kboss2010 most people have a phone nowadays so don't know why they should say that when you are trying to be helpful. Lots of shops print price per so 100g or per 100ml on the labels as well.7

There’s always someone who will be down on a suggestion, sad really. Sure plenty can’t/won’t engage with the tech but lots of us do! I rely on my calculator to check the better deal as my head is doing a constant tally of im not using the scan yourself. What I really miss is the little clip boards Tesco used to have on their trolly.Life happens, live it well.13

I keep my shopping list on my phone so it's easy to move to the calulator if I need to although usually just use the price per 100ml/ or 100g. What annoys me is when they have packs of something and then price so much each as can't compare the prices to loose which are priced as per 100g or per Kg.

Its been 2 weeks and I am so excited. 2 little pepper plants peeping through. 🎉. I have never managed to get to this stage before and I am only doing it because Grandson fancied giving theem a go. He is 10 but not overly interested in gardening. He likes eating though. 🤣. Any tips would be gratefully recieved. They are still in their plastic bag propagator at the moment on a windowsill. Does anyone know if I will have to keep the plants indoors all season.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Peppers do like heat, but don't like hot root's, so light coloured pots or a shady place for the pot but the head of the plant in the sun.
And it depends on where you are, type of garden, ie sunny and still or overcast and wind blown, and the weather, a dull wet year your best off keeping peppers indoors/ greenhouse.
Fun fact if you over winter peppers you will get a second crop the next year. hth.£71.93/ £180.0012
