December 6th. Who knew??
Looks like the humble microwave will come into its own this year- certainly a frugal way of cooking things, i had forgotten you can cook cakes in there!
But for a really good snigger, and we all need one of those, I heard Nigella Lawson pronouncing the word on the radio this morning.

hilarious!!But you make a good point. Today I meecrowarvayed my potatoes to mostly cooked before slicing into chips and finishing in the oven (mostly because I forgot to start them in in time so needed a quick fix). And it was much cheaper than using the conventional oven throughout.Saving for Christmas 2023 - £1 a day: #16. £90/£365
