Combining 3 credit cards from the same issuer

I have three Virgin money credit cards, all with a zero balance, and all with different credit limits. For ease, I would like to combine the three cards, and their credit limits, into one card. I thought this would be possible. However, after speaking to Virgin Money on the phone, they have said they don't do this. Is this right, or did I just get an unhelpful member of staff?

It's probably right. If you are not using them and your credit utilisation is low I would just close 2 of them and keep one for Credi Card protection. V x1

Yes - I had a regular Virgin/Virgin Atlantic card combo which they wouldn't combine, so I closed the lower limit card anyway. I've since had an increase to what the combined limit was. Probably can't be done because of their poor systems.
