Hi all!
I would be grateful for your help. My 2.22% 5 year fixed mortgage with NatWest is coming to an end on 30-04-2023.

I’m looking at a two year tracker rate of 0.73% plus base (3%), so 3.73% total, plus £995 fee, as this is the current cheapest remortgage option.
The system will allow me to switch my mortgage online. I’m happy to go ahead, but if and when I switch my mortgage, will it immediately change to the new rate, or will I still have the benefit of the remaining time on my existing 2.22% rate until April? It isn’t clear online.
many thanks for your help!
