Cross Trainer.. Good one for £150 ish?

Hi all,

I'm after getting a cross trainer after christmas, gym membership being ever increasingly expensive, it would be cheaper for my partner and I to use a few months worth to invest in a cross trainer..

I'm looking to spend around £150 (max), would love one which is relativley quiet, has the pulse sensors and ajusts the speed/resistance dependant on your heart rate (this is not essential!)

Can anyone recommend a good one? I have absolutely NO idea about them!

Do they break often, do they need servicing etc?

Hey, just bought one myself from Argos.Only 100 quid and does everything you need to do on it!It's not fancy but it does the job and was easy to put up.Saves you 50 pound from your budget too!

is kettle condor any good? They appear £500 on google but I can get it for £160 second hand..

I have been through looking at the cheap argos ones, avoid, you have to build them they shake and squeek and you will get bored on it very quickly.

have a look at the review web site www.usedtreadmill.co.uk or www.healthclubsathome.com or www.gymkituk.com for some good reviews and some cheap commercial cross trainers, that will last you years.
