I got my sister one direct from Apple, £139 delivered, could have got it slightly cheaper from Amazon but she wanted a green one which did not seem to be available from them. Also via Apple you can get it engraved for free.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.
Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz0 -
Ta for that Kazd, the engraving idea sounds good.I save so I can spend.0

Cheapest please. I'm asking on behalf of a friend, who wants to give one to her son...and ideally she wants a new one.
Suggestions please...Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Boots only currently have the 6gb in green in stock - £169.99 - use the 10% discount (£17) and double points at the moment =1359pts. They do have a mini ipod at £139.99 (10% discount £14 plus the double points) but it is out of stock at the moment.
John Lewis have a mini ipod 4gb for £139 (a couple of colours available) - there is a £10 code off and I think it's free P & P until June 20th.
Also, PC world have a couple at £107 - but I'm not sure if these (or the John Lewis ones) are 1st generation?0 -
John Lewis have a few colours available at £139 - but there's a £10 off code = £129 (I think I've seen something somewhere that delivery is free until 20th Jun).
PC World have a couple at £107.
I'm not sure if any of these are the 1st or 2nd generation.
Boots don't have any in stock at the moment - although they do seem to have stock in every few weeks - they're £139.99 (10% code £14 off) plus points.0 -
Ipod for points
Just off to get 4gb Mini Ipod in Silver from local boots paying with 130,000 points.
If you ring customer service and they can tell you which store have them in stock.0 -

I am total technophobe when it comes to ipods and mp3 players but would love to get one asap to take on holiday.
The choice is mindblowing. I am not bothered about the "keeping up with the Jones'" thing (bin there done that) if you could inform me of a good alternative I would be very grateful.
