ISA Transfer iWeb -> InvestEngine

Options

I have some cash sitting in my iWeb S&S ISA.  I wanted to invest it in dividend-paying stocks. Did my research, and decided I wanted to buy VanEck Morningstar Developed Markets Dividend Leaders – symbol TDGB. Logged in to iWeb, only to find that TDGB is not available on their platform. Apparently a dividend paying UCITS ETF is not considered suitable for individual investors at iWeb. This is not the first time I’ve encountered this problem with them.

I noticed that InvestEngine is offering S&S ISA’s with no platform fee. Reviews don’t seem bad. So I created an account and searched for TDGB. No problem buying this at InvestEngine.

I have initiated a transfer of £50,000 from iWeb to InvestEngine. We will see how it goes. If all is well, I will gradually move funds over as and when I sell my investments on iWeb.

    More suited to the savings & investments board than the pensions one perhaps, especially as InvestEngine don't seem to offer pensions?
