Did you notice the 2 for 1 Gastro Pub Meals offer (at more than 380 pubs in the UK) in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday 11th June---Guess where they are not promoting the offer?---you guessed it--Northern Ireland.
When did N.I. not belong in the United Kingdom?
As it ran along side the Daily Telegraph title to incite people to buy it --would this not fall into the category of deception?

Ah but you see Nursie, I've discovered that we are a foreign country. That's why companies don't include us in offers etc :rolleyes:

I hate it when companies ask you to fill in questionnairres in return for a book of money off vouchers only to find that none of the shops exist in NI. I suppose that they could claim that you could use the vouchers if you were visiting any other part of the UK therefore there was no deception.

Also suppliers are allowed to promote an offer in a particular part or region of the UK - so you do get offers that are NI only, Scotland only, London only etc. It may not be fair but then I would just love that to be my biggest problem in life
