Airfix, one of the world’s oldest and most well-known manufacturers of model kits, is giving one lucky person the chance to experience a once-in-a-lifetime flight in Britain’s iconic Spitfire aircraft.

Anyone who purchases any type of Airfix Gift Set or Starter Set (aircraft, vehicles, or ships) via the Airfix website before 31.1.23 will automatically have an opportunity to win the flight. The sets are priced from £11.99, but people can also enter without purchasing by sending a letter or postcard to Airfix Headquarters - full details at airfix.com/community/win-flight-spitfire. Terms and conditions apply.

The prize doesn’t necessarily need to be taken by the person that enters the competition or purchases the gift or starter set. At Airfix’s discretion, the prize can be passed onto a family member or friend.

The competition is designed to encourage the people of Britain to get creative and pass down the joy of model building from generation to generation.
