Pension Drawdown Tax Reclaim

Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help.
I withdrew some of a small pension pot 4 months ago. I was taxed with the 'emergncy' code as expected. I then submitted a claim online to HMRC to reclaim the overpaid tax. The online process informed me that i would recieve an email within 15 days with reference to the claim.
On their site it says that claims will be paid within 30 days of submission. It's now over 2 months since i submitted the claim. I rang them to enquire about the status. They replied that the claim had been authorised over a week ago. But i've yet to recieve an email, or money.
Has anyone else has similar experience? Is it even worth submitting a complaint?

They are running behind. It's more like 3-4 months at the moment. Is it even worth submitting a complaint? You could raise it with your MP but the issue of certain public sector workers not wanting to return to the workplace and the delays this is causing is pretty well documented.

I’m interested in the process to claim back tax online. I’ve never seen this option on my personal tax account. What am I missing please ?
I sent a letter in July and have heard nothing.Mortgage free

I sent a letter in July and have heard nothing. You need to search for the appropriate form, and then hope there is an online claim option.....I've only used the standard P55 form for accessing a pension flexibly (in my case taking an UFPLS payment), and can confirm there is an online claim option for this one.Like the OP though, I submitted my P55 about 2 months ago too....but still waiting. Tax account says it will be dealt with by Oct 30th, but then there's a message saying there is a delay due to them being "very busy".......
