Made redundant just before 2 years employed. Then could be asked back. My rights?

    I know that is generally the case but the OP explicitly states they were made redundant (rather than just let go) and then rehired. I thought there were some different rules around redundancy -v- normal dismissal of a short term employee

    There in no entitlement to redundancy pay with less than two years service so it is largely a moot point. So, unless the OP could show that the real reason for ending the employment amounted to unlawful discrimination, there is no entitlement beyond their contractual notice either way.
