For me it's money I find out and about. Mainly on the ground, occasionally the odd penny left in a self serve till.

No. Your money that you earn will be doing this.  If you earn extra money at work than your normal wage ie overtime that can be counted

I haven't signed up to the challenge but see that some on here are making very small amounts.

I use a couple of site which do pay small rewards but with some effort and good timing you can get decent rewards and bonuses ( i came 2nd a few weeks ago in the weekly points competition) Nice $100 bonus.

I must stress these 2 site pay you in coins which you then convert into crypto so you will need to create an account to accept your payments like coinbase. if you refer friends you get a bonus too ($10)
