Online Shopping - Too Late Now?

Options
Hope this is the right forum! :o

I'm after a couple of CD's before I go on my hols on xmas day.

Is it too late now to order on line do you think?

Being the penny pincher I am, I hate having to fork out over the odds to go to a highstreet shop when it is so much cheaper online.

Can anyone can tell me how much the following albums are likely to cost in store?

Mark Ronson - Version
Leona Lewis - Spirit
Alicia Keyes - As I Am
Spice Girls - Greatest Hits

Thanks all, and Seasons Greetings! :D

I'm not sure how much these CDs would be in the shops, but you have 1 shopping day left at www.play.com, i've ordered a few things over the last week that have been dispatched within a day of ordering them.

I would try Amazon and go for first class delivery, costs a few pounds extra, but the stuff (if in stock) gets sent out within 1 - 2 business days. I placed an order on Friday, it was sent out on Saturday and I had the stuff on Monday!

  • Thank you for this. It did cross my mind, but for the sake of a couple of quid I may as well hit the high street! :D

Co-op has Leona Lewis and Spice Girls at £8.95. I doubt they're cheapest, but it's the only place I know the prices for

  • I hate trying to get parked at this time of year - I justify paying postage as offsetting against car parking fees and CO2 emissions...lol.

That's not bad! It's actually 3p cheaper than Amazon. They quote £8.98 for each of the 4 CDs mentioned.

  • What about downloading from one of the legal download sites such Woolworths or Tesco?
  • I shall check out Tesco! Thanks Louise.

SG - I download the odd track from iTunes, but I prefer to purchase albums. :D
