Hi guys. We are due to complete the purchase of our new home early next week. The solicitor has advised that the lender is ready to pay on the Monday, but help to buy are still processing the application and doing some checks. We're now at the stage where the smallest hold up, ends in a fright and stress as it's been a long journey. My question is that, if help to buy already issued us with a authority to exchange, how likely are they to then change their minds for any reason at this stage? Our circumstances haven't changed, but it's just the fear factor when you hear they are doing further checks lol.

    Just a procedure wouldnt worry
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Thanks. It's just the fear factor setting in 😂. So am I right to assume as soon as we're accepted for the initial authority to exchange, and our mortgage is still in place, we're good to go?
