Google Chrome Problem

Last week I downloaded the latest Google Chrome Update.
Since then I have been unable to access any finance websites, Chrome says they are "not secure" and will not load the sites. This applies to 2 banks, a building society, Paypal, Tesco Clubcard. This is naturally serious for many if people cannot use their accounts.
I can access them via Edge so the problem is obviously with Chrome. Has anyone else had this problem?

Try deleting website browsing history and cookies0

Have you tried looking at the security/privacy settings from the rhs menu (3 dots). The new version may have defaulted to the strongest (apart from clearing cache/cookies as suggest above).

Also, there's a possibility you have some kind of proxy/security software on your machine which is making Chrome think there's something insecure between you and the bank. It could be a misbehaving extension too. Anything like that?
You could try accessing one of the sites in a private window, which will bypass all extensions.0 -
Thanks for all the advice.
I was wary of deleting browsing history because last time I got frustragted having to start all my favourite connections from scratch. The problem also occured on sites I had never visited before.
Lo and behold this morning everything was ok again!!1 -
If it happens again try checking your computer's time setting - if the date is wrong then you will get security certificate errors
