SEG - Solar Battery schematics diagram

So I've finally have my panels and battery fitted and now awaiting the G99 approval documentation from DNO but looking at SEG and some ask for a Battery schematics diagram while others don't.
I have already final invoice paid, and MCS Cert.

Octopus’ Smart Export Guarantee tariff - doesn't ask for this on their application form

E.ON Next SEG Tariffs - They ask for this form
"If you've battery storage on site, we'll need a schematic diagram and Battery Storage Declaration form."

Being new to all this, anybody know who creates these Battery schematics diagrams?

Thank you

You should get a schematic from your installer. I think it's a MCS requirement (although I might be wrong on this).

  • Your installer almost certainly would need to produce a schematic for the G99 application so ( even if not as per MCS  requirement mentioned above ) might let you have yours free of charge, you will already have paid them to do the application.

So I'm in the same boat.

    I've only got a G98, so shouldn't *need* a schematic diagram

I pointed this out to them, and they said it's not needed for the G98. They should word it better imo though! Ie: a need if you have a G99 certificate but not a need if you only have a G98 certificate
