Someone Send this to Martin

‘’This Christmas’’

Christmas is only one Day

Celebration of The Lord believers convey

Martin Lewis is a very smart man

Watched him last night and by damn

True words were spoken

Don’t give gifts as a token

Avoid Retail pressure

Sit back take measure

Instead don’t get caught up again

In the Annual high street campaign

To relieve you of your cash

Over you like a rash

This year, be strong and just say

‘’This year let’s not do presents’’

Thus avoiding gifts in return

From families who no longer earn

Instead enjoy Xmas with fellowship

Family, break bread, no guilt trip

Come Feb when the bills clatter through

Your letterbox addressed to YOU!

I have mentioned before, it’s concrete

Come February, army on the streets

Dishing out meals to those who did not listen

To the rich and poor alike, even Christians

Now, buy your kids anything they desire

But keep it close, family what they require

January will be tight, beware

Tinsel in attic, learn the Lord’s Prayer

Be festive and hug your loved ones

Remember that someones

Worse off than you

And hope we all pull through

Hi, if you watched Martin's show this Tuesday, you will have seen the information on there on how to contact him.

It's doubtful whether or not he'll see this.

He's on Twitter (but I think this will have too many characters?) and also at [email protected] - or you could ask the forum team to pass it on to him - [email protected]

They say that next week it's the final show of the year so if you send it to him now he may (or Angellica may) refer to it?

I think he likes things like that.   :)

Rap started (as far as I’m aware) way back in 1979 when I was a youngster with sugar hill gang. At the time it was new and entertaining. I can’t understand why it’s still popular.

Or maybe this isn’t an attempt to sound like Eminem?

My wife’s got some distant relatives who are reformed Presbyterians. Famously referred to as deformed Presbyterians, because they have no organs, they’re also known for not celebrating Christmas. A bit boring, but maybe not a bad idea. No point in getting stressed out over a supposed celebration.
