WHAT DISCOUNT OR POINTS CAN I GET - FOR BUYING A GIFT CARD FOR £150 FOR M & S ?

I have been asked, by a friend to buy a gift card or E- voucher for £150 for marks and Spencer’s, They are giving the voucher, the same day towards a Xmas outfit, for their daughter - but they have asked me to source it.
Is there any shops, that have any discount for M &S ? I would have got it through Top Cashback, on Top Giftcards, but M&S are not on it anymore, so wondered, where else, I might get anything ?

Buying a gift card can back fire, either if the business ceases trading, or if a refund is required (will be a gift card again so has to be spent at the store), or if there is a fault and the purchase would have been via credit card (no S75 protection).
Does it have to be a gift card or could you actually buy the item or give cash?
If you do go ahead with the gift card, do you have access to a work incentive scheme (such as Reward Gateway)? These offer gift card discounts at many stores (I have not checked for M&S). Reward Gateway seem to run the incentive schemes for many employers who then self-brand the front end. Obviously, access depends on employment, but if you don't have that access, you may know someone who can help out. Access to these types of incentive schemes is sometimes available through products such as car breakdown cover, insurance products, package bank account. If you have any, it may be worth checking. Don't take a product just for the gift card, though.2 -
It’s not for me, it’s my elderly neighbour, who wants to give it to his daughter, to go shopping at the weekend, as she has seen an outfit for Xmas, she wants, but cannot afford it, so he said, if I give her the money, it will get spent on other things, if he gives her the gift card for marks and Spencer’s, she can buy her outfit she wants at the weekend.
I just thought, I might be able to get points, or cashback, if I bought it online, somewhere ?0 -

I just thought, I might be able to get points, or cashback, if I bought it online, somewhere ?Is the outfit online? You could buy it for your neighbour online and then see if M&S is on any cash back sites for physical item purchases. Or a cash back credit card, avios card etc …
Your neighbour says that if they give her cash, it will be spent on other things, nothing stops her selling the gift card and using the cash anyway.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
