    Maybe you don’t know the answer but do accountants now base fees in that manner as opposed to a fixed amount? I know solicitors do but it certainly didn’t happen in my day!

    I received a fresh quote today of £480 which is a lot more manageable. The accountant also didn't forsee any issues with everyone's share going into the same account, something that the solicitor felt was an issue for tax reasons.
