Hi,
I have checked my rating for a long time nearly 2 years, and I have just checked and have noticed First Direct have been penalising me for 18 months for a late payment (18 1s) on my record for them, i have spoken to them today and they are looking into it, as they say i am up to date so not sure why it has happened, am I able to get the 1s removed and put my score back to what it should be, what do I need to ask them to do to make my score accurate again.
thanks in advance

IF the error is theirs they are legally obliged to request the CRA's update their records accordingly, but they will only do this at your request.
You can also sign up to a CRA and ask them to contact FD on your behalf to put the matter right. Whilst that is ongoing you can ask a CRA to put a note on your file (in your words) explaining the 18 1's so any other creditors will be able to take it into consideration when assessing any further applications.0
