Fountain Chocolate Mixture?

Hi Everyone.
I want to use our chocolate fountain for a bit of fun after xmas lunch.
But I am horrified at the price of th "liquid chocolate" you can purchase.
Does any one have a (foolproof) recipe I could follow?
My Friend said she mixed olive oil with normal chocolate bars, but this sounds gross!!!
