No win No Fee

What costs are involved for cancelling a No Win No Fee  agreement?

    Potentially all their costs, which can run into thousands.  Generally, once you sign up you are committed to see it through unless the solicitors decide to end the claim.

    If you want to pull out you need to contact the firm involved without delay.  Solicitors fees are not cheap and the longer you leave it the more expensive it will be.  They may have a minimum charge.  You may also find that, should you come to a settlement with the other party they will still want a percentage of any payment.

    Read your contract, normally it'll be the hours worked at the stated rate plus disbursements (eg ATE insurance) and VAT. Could be hundreds or thousands depending on how long they've been working on the case etc.

    Whatever costs are detailed in the contract that you signed.  NWNF operators are sharks, exit costs could be considerable.
