I had a similar quote from LR for my house in Hampshire. It came in at bang on 10k but that's because I had an extra panel and optimisers on the panels due to shading (dormer roof).
They have been my best quote so far, I'm still reviewing my options. I can't speak to the quality of the battery or the inverter though.

Can he get double that on his roof? He'll get more out of additional panels than the battery and the price should be similar.8kW (4kW WNW, 4kW SSE) 6kW inverter. 6.5kWh battery.0

If were you, I'd go for as many of those Sharp panels (Made in Germany) as can fit on the roof, and if there's cash left over, invest in the Myenergi Libbi modular battery bank with inbuilt inverter and upto 20kWh of storage. That should cover his consumption nicely.- 10 x 400w LG + 6 x 550W SHARP BiFacial Panels + SE 3680 HD Wave Inverter + SE Optimizers. SE London.
