Council Tax Collection From Rundles

I’m being hassled by Rundles Enforcement Agents to pay a debt to Islington Council for unpaid council tax. This dates back to 15 years ago when I lived in the borough. I first heard from them in October when they sent me four letters all dated the same day, each with a different amount and reference number. I thought this might have been a scam, and didn't want to engage with them so ignored it.
Recently I moved from the address that they sent the letter to, but I popped by yesterday and there was another one from Rundles. This one saying that they were going to come to my house (which I now don’t live at) and take goods for the value of £887.94, this is a completely different amount to the letters that they sent before!

Despite what may or may not have happened in the past, I'm wondering are they chancers that have brought the debt from the council? I've checked my credit rating and I have no CCJ's against me and a fair overall score. Also has the limitation period passed and they should not be contacting me?
Any advice and support would be gratefully received

OK, a few points
Rundles will have been appointed by Islington to collect the debt
The figures you are seeing now will have fees added - the compliance fee of £75 can be added to each order but as they are being collected en masse, there should only be one enforcement fee of £235
Council tax does not go through the county court so there are no ccjs
The Limitation Act does not apply here but there is equivalent legislation to say that the council must obtain a liability order within 6 years, which they probably did. Once the LO is obtained there is no limit in practice over how long these things can be pursued for.
Normal bailiff rules apply - they cannot force entry so in case they turn up keep external doors locked and park any car well away from your house.
You may want to talk to islington about the history of this, and if it is part of a bigger debt picture, maybe get advice on the whole situation.1
