If you live in Scotland and claim certain means-tested benefits, and you have children under 16, you can now claim £25 a week per child in 'Scottish child payment'. The benefit has today been extended to reach more families, while the amount you can claim has also been boosted. Over 400,000 children could now be eligible.

I made an application in February 2022 and there have been many delays processing it, I've had to contact citizens advice for help. I'm incredibly grateful for the support as other areas of the country are less fortunate but still, it has been a trying experience.0

Happy to say it all got sorted last week. Not sure on how to spend the £2,500 on kids all at once, lol.0
