The quicker you guess correctly, the more money you win! 

Here's how it works...

Our presenters will open the phone lines and bring one listener on the show to play over the phone each time.

They'll play the intro of a song and if you know it, shout STOP and you’ll then have FIVE seconds to give us your answer (artist and song title).

Each round, the prize fund goes down the longer the intro goes on, until it hits the vocals of the song... and £0.

Over 18s only. Beat The Intro will be played in most shows on Virgin Radio UK between Monday 14th November 2022 and Sunday 4th December 2022.

The current prize amount will be heard over the top of the song, reducing in value the longer the clip goes on. The prize amount awarded for correct guesses will be as per the last amount said IN FULL in the clip.
