Octopus …. fulfil my fantasy …. 🙂

Options
Octopus’s CEO is everywhere and I love his Youtube stuff  expounding his admired beliefs and Octopus’s credentials in saving the planet.  I genuinely admire this company. I want to be a customer.  I want to be a beta tester for every imaginative idea they have. I am prepared to place myself in their hands.

Imagine a world where you call Octopus and you are given a single point of contact called your Octypussy Concierge and you give them your address and your credit card number and they spec out a single turnkey approved package and all you need to do is pay them, and they arrange everything ie the installation with their managed and approved installers of everything and thy oversee and manage your switching to them.   You wake up one day, scaffolding has come and gone, the cash has left your account but you are now totally in control with your energy in partnership with them.  And it is sunny with no clouds and your new batteries are full to the brim.

Oh ….. I think I’ve just woken up … and rubbed my eyes … and I’m still listening to “Pirates of The Caribbean” ie “Yo, ho, yo ho a pirates life for me ….”  and getting further and further away from finding an easy way to buy all this stuff. 🥲

Well octopus I believe are in some sort of partnership with myenergi in grimsby.
Their eddi and zappi are very good, and they are in the process of rolling out their own battery solution... so maybe.

Octopus do seem so far to be a good company, and I find emailing them I usually have a response and resolution within 24 hours.... though that has been longer lately I'd imagine due to them taking on bulbs old customers.

Soon you too could have this sort of view on the myenergi app

Thanks.  A couple of weeks back I saw a myenergi youtube or two and was impressed and I registered interest in being put in touch with a local installer and hope to hear.  It seems a much more joined up system and I think it sounds really good.  I'll let you know, and thanks again.
