Can I claim tax from workplace pension, I have had to fill in a self assessment due to earning over £50,000 per annum and my wife claims child benefit. I’ve been charged a lot to pay back and was wondering if I claim tax on workplace pension I pay 8% and work pays 8% would appreciate any advice thanks

How does it show on your self assessment? If it shows as all coming from employer contributions then it is salary sacrifice and therefore paid before tax, so you already claimed the tax element.0
