The Scene-It game was less than the sale prices last week! I ordered it for £8.99 - now it's in the sales at £12.49! Be careful and remember - don't buy things just because they appear to be bargains.
Yes, I noticed that one of the items I ordered a few days ago was now more expensive and yet it was 'on sale'!
Also when I add items to my wishlist I put the price in the notes column as they can change daily. Some items have almost doubled in price in the run up to Christmas, eg one book was 40% off (£18) but is now full price (£30).
Also if you add items to your basket and then click save for later each time you check your basket it will tell you if the items saved for later have increased or decreased in price. The price comparison sites are useful but when you see which shop is cheapest don't click on it but go via Quidco.com etc to get the price down even more (with cashback) - might only be an extra 5 to 10% discount but every little helps.

but if anyone is after stuff for this Xmas you'll probably have to pay for first class delivery now.
Amazon are advertising today (18th) as the last day for free super saver delivery but from what I've worked out, it seems to only be on certain for items stocked with Amazon themselves.
One item I looked at said it wouldn't be in time for christmas in the small print, but the same item from a different source will be! It is worth double checking when looking at items as though the prices may vary marginally different prices, you could still save on postage afterall.0 -

I've just had the same problem. Everything was saying I would get it in time for Xmas delivery... right up until checkout when it said they would be delivered AFTER 25th and that I would need to upgrade delivery if I wanted them before. That would have cost an extra £20+ so I ordered at at Super Saver delivery and then rang to complain that they were advertising today as the last day for free Xmas delivery and then expecting you to pay for delivery once you got to check out, and that it wasn't a stock problem as all my items were in stock with Amazon. My opinion is that it's a blatant attempt by Amazon to get customers to sign up to Amazon prime instead.
EVENTUALLY he agreed to upgrade the delivery free of charge(He tried asking if I'd pay first but I said I was not prepared to while they were still advertising it as free delivery on their site). The only way he could do it was to charge me then request a refund but at least I won't be having to pay £20+ more to get them for Xmas.0
