Do you intend to keep the plate in any case?  If so, you'll need to do the exchange and put the age identifier plate back so might as well do that now, then buy the Evoque.  I would not reuse the cherished plate until after the finance issue has been sorted.

Yes, I want to keep the private plate so to avoid missing out on the Evoque, I would just go ahead and do the exchange then buy the Evoque. Then wait for PSA to sort the finance on private plate out. Thank you so much.
