havent been on here since nyk gave me a number,and I am really struggling talk about robbing peter to pay paul.I have all these tins i put money in for b/days xmas etc,and i keep running out of money and borrowing and putting i.o.u.s in,i havent worked out how to do my sig properly yet ,mumzy you put me to shame,have been reading this thread right thru from the start,cant believe how young you are with 2 kiddies doing baking making bread (and iced buns) you should be proud of yourself.we were really really hard up when our 4 were small and i have always prided myself on managing on very little i knitted and made clothes took night cleaning jobs spent b/day money meant for me on the children,but as they flew the nest and now theres just the 2 of us i have got out of the habit.we still dont have much but i could cut down a lot get some savings behind us,and clear a sizable cc that oh doesnt know about.so i am going to stop just reading about you all and get active .i remember what was on an old school report CAN DO BETTER so here goes,I will be back shortly to let you know how its goingl:T Never Too Old to learn :T0

Just found out I got a £10 library fine because I thought I had renewed some books when actually I hadn't :mad: :mad: :mad: Luckily they cap it at £10 or it would have been even more! I'm not going to count it in my total until they actually bill me for it though...Ooohh well, worse things happen. Otherwise I've spent £5.99 on a new Thermos flask (on sale!) because I broke the last one
so I'm up to £15.08 of my £17.80 limit, with 5 days to go before the end of term. It'll be fine :cool:

I have my days and only bake when i feel like it, today i have baked brownies, quiche cheese and onion, leek and poatoe soup, homemade ricepudding..all in 2hrs..when my eldest was at nursery...tomorrow im going to try and cook sausage and bean casserole but make loads for the freezer!! and maybe carmel shortcakes...but i have eldest at home tomorrow with youngest so might be a bit hard lol
